Fair enough on Doc Who as I said before (which I will be recording, never watch telly on Christmas Day after about 3pm), but the rest is ****e.

The first two series were the same, all three episodes spread across a couple of weeks.

Moriarty was played a as a deranged lunatic in Sherlock as said before this was not Moriarty character or nature!
as you keep saying about a modern version, then surley you have to stick to the what the characters are, And there was no equal been shown between the BBC seriers

If your going to rehash things then surley the characters have to remain the same (that can be man or woman) or its not the same and doesnt pay credit to the author or fans!


Dr Who, Nope sorry just carnt do it, Broadwalk Empire, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad are great watching :emoticon-0148-yes:

Not sure why Anderson is frothing at the gash in prospect of Sherlock's return.

Or why he has adopted the Ian Watkins look.

But nevermind, was still interesting.

That was special television.




I absolutely loved how the writers led us on a merry chase, everyone believed that it would be so complicated, that Sherlock Holmes would be as sophisticated as ever.

To be fair when I saw it I was thinking 'did I really actually get it partly correct?'. I was bloody shell-shocked.

I honestly thought the squash ball thing was just me over complicating from trying to work it out for over 20 months...



Back to the episode - it was a brilliant one. Liked the V for Vendetta plot, and also surprisingly liked John's fiance. I thought she'd be really annoying but she's actually alright.

Oh, and the Derren Brown theory in the intro was great - you know they did that just to cause twitter to go into meltdown...

And finally, the little cameo by Sherlock's parents - who were played by Cumberbatch's actual mum and dad.
