Wembley for us never got close to general sale, ST holders swooped up the lot. Black market corporate and club wembley prices were disgraceful. That whole set up with that stadium is just designed for rich people to make money off poor people.

Yeah we didn't get general sale but only around 24k STH's with a 31k allocation so was plenty for members.

I know it's gotta be paid for but the allocations at Wembley are a disgrace. 25k for each team at the FA Cup Final? ****ing joke man.

50k out of 90k for real fans, so that the Wembley brand can sell the rest to corporate and hospitality. Speaks volumes.

The FA 'football family' get a good chunk of them, many of which end up being sold in.

Selling the Club Wembley seats and Corporate boxes on 10 year licences raised a good chunk of the cost of the stadium. If they hadn't done that they would probably have had to build a smaller stadium with lower allocations and higher prices. So I think in this case the expensive seats subsidise the cheap ones.

I really want to go to an away game now. Going to look what's on next month.

@Home_and_Away You got any away games for October/November on the cards mate with room in the back? Won't be drinking in the car mate, decided to put a stop to that, badder can't handle it anymore.

When I'm off to away games you'll be on my list of passengers marra. :emoticon-0148-yes:
I'm awaiting news on my starting date for my new job which will dictate games until New Year. :emoticon-0149-no:

Wow, that's a long drive.

All I seem to do is drive lately marra...
Drove from Certa to Porto yesterday which wasn't for the faint hearted before flying to Bristol and then driving home thru the night (got into Darlo @ 0630).
This Saturday will drive to Sunderland for match
Sunday, drive to Pompey
Monday evening drive back to Darlo
Tuesday, drive to Sunderland for match .... I almost feel as tho the front seat is my home !!! Ha ha

I think a smaller stadium with more of an atmos and the tickets going to the real fans would have been much better..

Whenever I think of club Wembley, I see a lot of stiffs in suits with big pockets who probably never ever stood on a terrace or kicked a football in their life..<ok>

The Wembley financial reports say that more than half the revenue comes from Club Wembley so it probably wouldn't have got built at all without it.
I've got a Club Wembley seat but I was a working class boy who got lucky in life. Most of the people in there are proper fans.

Nice to hear and especially for you lads on the doorstep..<ok>

Much preferred the 80k+ supporters of the teams in the old stadium though..
