Unfortunately we're not a PL standard run club....He's simply not a PL standard manager anymore.
I'm waiting for Mark Hateley to get a mention....

I really would like to see Phelan. As everyone has said, he will walk if he isn't installed.
Phelan with Giggs/Neville would give that boostEveryone thinks differently and for me, right now we would benefit greatly from someone like Giggs..
Not because he's the best manager for the job, he isnt.. but he'd give the club, players and fans a massive needed lift. The media would have a field day and we'd get that positivity and excitement back again. Whereas someone like Phelan, who is the obvious choice, is still very much of the old regime (wasnt a bad thing) and wouldnt give us all that much neededlift.

Corrected for you.Ian Holloway, we could play much worse!!!
Corrected for you.
btw - is Pearson in the frame, would he come back?
Martin O'Neill started at Grantham and worked his way up. Now manages a national side.whats wrong with trying to manage in a League 2 team?
work your way up.
PL is full of egos anyhow
everyone wants to start managing in PL, and it isnt as easy as it looks.
That's a good plan. Neville could play at right back and Giggs could play on the wing as well as them both being assistant managers.Phelan with Giggs/Neville would give that boost

I knew about Wycombe Wanderers but I didn't know he had previously managed at Grantham Town and Shepshed Charterhouse. That's a good way to work your way up and I would recommend that Giggs and Neville try that approach.Martin O'Neill started at Grantham and worked his way up. Now manages a national side.
