I'd respect Nigel more if he quit rather than work under the present ownership. He says ambition is more important to him than money so his mind must be made up. With his recent CV he can do much better elsewhere.

This club is only going in one direction until the pirates set sail.

Think this is a very short term view. I'd much rather he stayed to continue the excellent work he is doing both on and off the pitch, for which I think many now give him enormous respect. He's building something DESPITE the owners, and if he left now and they do then sell up over the summer , I think he might regret it. Plus there seems to be this assumption he will walk into another job. There's a lot of competition (much of it not British) for not many jobs out there in the championship.

Some people seem to want him to go , I do think he's proved himself enough to get another job in the Championship

Nigel's decision, if the money is not the problem, is whether he feels he can do a job with the restrictions the Allam's are putting on him. If not, then he is better to call it a day whilst his reputation is intact. If he ends up taking the job on, and things go pear-shaped then he will be out of a job and his reputation tarnished.

I think he’ll go
Always thought he would stay but I think the performance against sheff u said the players know he’s going.

If it's true that his right hand man Crosby hasn't been offered a deal, then he's off.

The performance against The Blades showed we have little strength in depth, Burke was a big miss, plus if players are aware that they are potentially on their bike then are they going to risk injury with nothing at stake for City anymore, I suspect not. Pride counts for something, but not so much apparently.

I've got a feeling he will go, Ehab isn't capable of negotiating, he will have fixed terms in mind, which his father will have given him and Nigel will try to discuss but get nowhere, it will all fall on deaf ears.

neither of them have a clue how to negotiate - its just threat - if you don't do that we'll do this - I suspect in Nigel's case it will be something like if you don't sign the new contract we wont employ you

Nigel has done a great job.
He wants to stay.
The players probably want him to stay.
Most fans want him to stay.
Should be an easy job for Ehab to secure him for next season...

So who's going to replace Nigel?

A guy with minimum credibility who's desperate to get back into the game! Providing he doesn't have a number 2 apparently! That said, with cheap imports possibly high on the agenda expect someone we've never heard of from another member of the EU!
