Conversely away from home, with the burden of expectation lifted, and set up to counter attack might be to our advantage any port in a storm atm.
I sincerely hope this Ben Alnwick story is a hoax, we have too good keepers we don't need another, we have enough problems elsewhere imo.

What if one or both of our keepers have expressed a view to leave ?

If that is so, that’s another piece of pathetic man management. It’s arguable that mcgeady and the keepers are the best players we’ve got

Thing is, his tactics and substitutions are making safc worse.

we are 10 points clear of relegation. The next four games on form are four defeats.

waiting till May could end with league 2. It really is not an option

Doncaster away
Fleetwood away
Lincoln home
Wycombe home

can you honestly see wins there?

What a difference a few hours make eh marra. SAFC,masters of the unexpected - as well as the unwelcome!
Bouncing after that result

I have absolutely no problem if we go on a 10 match winning streak ..

Two strikers and a creative midfielder is what is needed... bringing in a goalkeeper FFS

This win I suppose gives Parkinson breathing space... but it has to be the start of a run!

I can understand giving him the window and see if things improve but if we find ourselves in or near the relegation zone after say the next ten games would you still give him till the end ?
No I wouldn't, but I don't expect us to be in that position. I suspect we'll be up & down, but that the general trend will be upwards. How far, I wouldn't like to say...

Easier to say now we've won one :p
:D

There's odd occasions where I've just wanted PP gone but more where I've thought just give him a bit time and bring some players in.
Especially after the talk of unrest amongst players etc.
I dont think this takeover malarkey has helped matters either.

I can't see him taking us down, at worst, mid table but i posted on another thread or over the road (dont bother there now) that i was hoping for a playoff spot once we get going and could see us winning it this time under pp.

Hopefully :emoticon-0148-yes:

If you read the Echo, Alnwick is just training with us because he knows PP. PP thinks we are already strong at GK and is(rightly) looking to strengthen other areas. 2+2 =5 again
Unless we are ready to sell McLaughlin in January, then have Burge as No.1 and Alnwick as No.2

Both keepers would be fine as no 1's in my opinion, we are lucky to have them both. Maybe one has expressed a desire to leave, who know's, but the speculation was mischievous, and PP to his credit played it well imo.
