If Richard ****ing Hill is picking the manager we're ****ed.
What has he done in football to get in such a position at SAFC...probably end up doing a Mark Bowen and appoint himself.

Whilst I don't think Parkinson is as bad as some make out I think we need a strong character and a bit of arrogance which is where Pearson comes in for me.

I have a serious concern about Donald's current behaviour tbh.

We need a manager ASAP and Donald is supposed to be in charge.

If he is then why hasn't he acted decisively when the club looks adrift?

If he is still calling the shots then I'm concerned that he'll go against Pearson/SKP and opt for someone more controlable/less high profile.

Does he want the limelight and a say in team affairs that Pearson/SKP would never allow?

I would think that if Hill and Coton are interviewing they are hardly going to recommend a manager who may want his own recruitment team. Pearson may want that.

Are we really adrift though smug? Ipswich have a decent lead on us granted, 2nd place we are well in the hunt for ( we can easily catch ipswich but thats the only adrift i can see. I agree about donald. I think the pressure of this takeover is talking its toll on him. Not the takeover itself, but the pressure from fans and the press that goes with it. I dont agree with some, out to hunt him down at the minute for some reason, but the fact he has had to sack his choice of manager during this time, has really weakened his stance. The thought of a takeover and manager change at the same time, will satisfy me most. I like donald, but he cant screw this deal up

I've worried for a while about the state of footballing heirarcy behind the scenes
Not only does he need to take a step back himself but
He needs to get shot of his mates and cronies and bring in some proper football people.

Tbh the contenders for the job, don't exactly inspire. All of them come with risk and all except SKP come with failures in their history.

For that reason I'd take the risk in appointing SKP. It's not ideal to be taking a risk, but imo all the candidates come with risk, and some of the names linked I'd of never thought would ever manage our club.

And one of those will be Doris the tea lady!

We're not that adrift. A good run and we're right back in it. A good run depends on the ambitions of the owners.
