I've woken up to a message saying we'll have an announcement this morning providing our first choice accepts the offer.

If not then it could all get silly.

I really don't want our new manager in the stands on Saturday ...

.... he needs his sleeves rolled up and shouting from the touchline.

Whats your gut feeling on him accepting the offer?

Gut feeling its Parkinson...Get ready for "he has good record getting out of this league" "Big ambitions for the club" blah blah blah....Bottom line he is cheap and available...Its so Sunderland...Gutted if it happens

His press conferences are appalling, the man is a dreadful bully.

However, its the effect he has on the players that matters.

I liked Ross, as a man, and look where that got me <doh>

There is that impression of him, and I daresay he might be a bit of an arrogant twat (just based on a few people on here/ SMB who have said they've seen him and interacted with him, one or two you can ignore but when it's more than that you can see a pattern!). That being said I've never heard players of his complain about his methods, he seems to get a good level of commitment from them. At least I don't think we'd be a soft touch under him. As you say we've had a few nice blokes as manager, maybe it's time to try having an arsehole

Kind of hard to imagine what the big change is that people expect isn't it. Ross gets slated for being negative but he played plenty of attacking players they just didn't quite do the job most likely because they aren't quite good enough. If we were genuine promotion material we'd be fighting off offers for our best players but unless there's a media blackout on it we simply don't get them, from anyone. Because nobody else wants them.

Like you say some fresh blood might see a minor improvement which can snowball into something bigger. Fingers crossed hey.
I have to agree. Because we had to bring in a whole team on short notice, we got some good, mostly average and a few duds.
I doubt Ross had a huge influence on the incomings last year, and he had to work with what was available.
A new manager might put a bit more fitness and urgency into the squad, but we really need some new blood.

He did seem a nice guy, his demeanor however was ****e. The next manager in must show passion, and build a relationship with the fans ....

Just a quick cryptic message to Dobble Mackem only, please ignore.

Since I posted about Fuhrman I've been contacted by lots of people with info, some on here and some from elsewhere.

There are 3, on here, who contact me daily through pm.

I pass on what they allow me to.

I'm not personally itk on anything to do with the club and don't seek attention or crave likes or any such shyte.

I'm a grown man with other concerns than praise/criticism from a bunch of strangers on a little chat forum.

I’m at a point now when I just say get it ****ing done, we don’t want to be going into the weekend managerless.

I still maintain it should be Stendel, and the second he left Barnsley within hours of Ross departing there should have been a conversation along the lines of ‘well, that was a godsend’.

I don’t buy that Pearson has done a good job anywhere but Leicester personally, he’s plodded along. When he left Hull they were massively underachieving from expectation that season if I recall correctly.

Let’s just get it done and hope for an immediate impact.
