Are they just going with whoever's had the most recent interview or is someone feeding them info? I'd say they'll interview a bundle of the "best" candidates and then make a decision when they've seen them all - isn't that how appointments usually work? Can't see why odds would be changing much based on prospect, surely moving with money which must be based on guesswork
Surely folk don't think that just because someone's being interviewed none of those previously seen are in with a shout
I just think that is the way donald operates. I really reckon he blew all our dosh punting on grigg and its come a cropper. We are travelling coach class..imo
Maybe so but Donald will be well aware of how screwed we'll be if he gets the wrong manager. I don't think he'll go for the budget option to save a few quid when there's many millions on the line.
Tbh I believe he did exactly that with ross. I just dont believe he was the only and best option available when appointed. He would have been on a pittance at st mirren
The right manager can save us thousands by getting the best out of the players we've got - not to mention getting us out of L1
It would be a good assumption. We would never know. I am happy to assume that in football circles stendel's stock is much higher than that of Parkinson's hence the latter would be cheaper
Could I just mention Clough and Taylor Yes I know Clough was still good after they parted but together they were better
O Oh well div 1 for at least another season after this one. May as well have saved money and kept ross if this is true
Agree Under Peter Reid. Bobby Saxton's role was much underestimated. Niall Quinn thought he was one of the best coaches he'd worked under. As well as being completely mental
