Yep no chance of them ...weirdly enough I actually think Hughes is just the appointment we need.

I'm warming to the idea, and think we have a decent chance of staying up with him. Don't really buy into him being an arse kicking motivator though, seems a dour, arrogant dickhead in all his interviews. But he has done well at majority of clubs he has managed so think he could be the answer.

Not entirely sure how having a survey or discussing things here means a lack of support where it matters?

I just feel that the survey and some of the proposed answers give people the opportunity to further voice negative opinions. There's been quite a lot of negativity on the Hughes suggestion already, so my view is to not invite this further. (Saying that, I'll probably be a total hypocrite and reply myself with a positive response!!) ?

Am reading he is to be appointed tomorrow. Best of a very short list. I think he will engender a positive response; by a process of leadership and a flamethrower (no hairdryer for Mark Hughes). We should hopefully see a 'new manager bounce' that will garner some points and keep us up.

Thats about all we can hope for at this late stage of the season. With that l would be satisfied and relieved. We can then ponder the coming season with or without Hughes...
