Thought the discussion would eventually go from Pellegrino being sacked to rumours of his replacement. Would would we all like to see? Graham Potter would be an unexpected but somewhat maverick decision that i would like!
Too untested in a major league and risky IMO, we need someone with PL/English experience preferably right now.
Unless we can get Silva (doubt it) I would go for Potter. Silva has experience in this situation and would be ideal but I dont know if he would want to join us in our current situation with everton waiting in the summer!
Are Everton really waiting in the summer? Sam stalled on signing for them for a reason. That reason is probably a very big pay out if they want rid this summer is my guess.
Only time will tell I suppose. Of there is a big pay out then Everton probably wouldnt mind paying it - seem to be willing to splash (so far waste) the cash on their managers!
Would like and realistic: - Silva - Bilic - Jokanovic Would like and not realistic: - Tuchel - Brendan Rodgers
Of those on the list, I would favour WGS. The football we played under him was good and the pressers should be a hoot!
Jokanovic realistic right now? Can’t see us getting a manager from a team in a position like that, unless it’s the summer.
Yeah, I doubt he would come at this stage of the season, but he is a realistic target. We have a much bigger budget than Fulham, so could maybe tempt him?
So he’s not realistic now? Just clarifying. We need a manger now, so if this next manager thread is about who we appoint now, I don’t think he is realistic.
Who knows what he would decide. It would be worth speaking to him though. If I were him, I’d do it. Bigger club, bigger budget, already in the PL. AVB is unemployed atm, he may not be a bad shout. Has a lot to prove in England as well.
