It’s probably more convenient to just stay at Wembley now. I hate the journey, the atmosphere and the stadium but the team in general are doing ok there and I’d rather not disrupt a rhythm three quarters of the way through the season. Besides there’s only one big game left for us at home which is West Ham, so to me at least, I feel like the excitement of moving into WHL for this season has now died significantly.
Start 2019/20 afresh with a rejuvenated side, a more “up for it” fanbase and obviously a team who will have had some time to train and play friendlies/ training matches on the new pitch to get accustomed too it. It’ll be nice (just as it was this summer until the disappointing news) to have something to look forward too straight away once the new season begins.
