Actually, I'd say my knowledge of the site, such as the other teams' forums, General Chat, and the people most likely to attempt to 'wum' our board is a good reason to vote me in.
As long as there's nothing child-related in anyone's pornographic posts and they put them in 'NSFW' tags, why not? If there were complaints then I'd address the problem
I did say I'd follow the Lambretta blueprint for moderating. I certainly wouldn't be at the other extreme and over-zealous, like that **** from the Southampton board, 'channonfodder', who refers to himself as a 'lad' and yet whose actions strongly suggest a man who only has sex if it's done in the missionary position, on his birthday, through a hole in a white sheet with the lights turned-off.

. errrrrrrrr do other people do it differently then? .. mine's a pretty big hole in the sheet I'll have you know!
For the thankless task of modding it has to be someone who puts their name forward. The style of modding is dictated by the site owners and has worked well and there is no need for change. I think ISTPLT is probably the best pick of the volunteers even if he does come across as a fxxkwit sometimes.
If Mr Tickler puts his name forward and it goes to a poll, then he gets my vote. A lack of intellect should not preclude anyone and Mr Tickler has a pretty thick skin.

The problem would be that Mick doesn't like it being posted on the open forums and it's his site.
