so what you are saying is that the people who will be voting for the mod are too stupid to take into account their experience of each candidate's character, demeanour, previous behaviour, and attitudes?

Yes, that is exactly what I was saying <steam>

Or maybe what I was actually saying, was that by just letting a board decide, you end up with it becoming a popularity contest, so the most liked person gets it rather than the best suited. All I can say is that whoever is the *lucky* chap, I don't envy them for one second.
 
I think it's about time this poll got underway. It might also help us to forget last night's result.

I Saw The Premier League Tigers for me. He talks sense and is probably the most sensible one of us all other than Ricardo.

Edit: I'll put myself forwards to give a cheeky little bit of competition. Not that it can be classed as competition but I'll make ISTPLT look better! <ok>

I've just done a vague count-up. - I say vague because some people have stated one name, some have named 2-3, and some have reiterated their choice so over 9 pages it hasn't been too easy to get it perfect.

Anyway, other than those that have ruled themselves out, (e.g there have been a fair few calls for the likes of OLM to stay, NFU, DJ, Premier Tiger) it boils down to three. Erik, ISTPLT and myself have all received around 9-10 mentions. I haven't counted anything from the OLM thread so it may vary slightly.

I have a feeling I've got an outside chance against these two but quite frankly I'm pretty flattered by the amount of mentions regardless <ok>

Time for a poll, maybe? Unless I'm missing someone?

I'm amazed no one except me thinks Theo should be the one getting the "job". He doesn't talk crap and he's focused on football an not offtopic like many others. And he gets respect from everyone.
