Given the national news that’s just broken I’m taking bets on who’ll get a new manager first, City or GB

Could be a close call…

Surely that means literally bring him to Hull early June and not a confirmed deal early June.
We were told it wouldn’t be this week and it’s early June next week.
The point I’m making is that there is no preferred not606 way of playing - we tend to disagree a lot about that on this forum. Nothing wrong with disagreeing, never said there was.The preferred way of playing football, not the preferred way of not accepting a different viewpoint on anything else.
No politics. You know the rules.
Hypothetical question here, again I repeat I know nowt about Mr Walter, however .. given the main bone of contention with Acun and Rosie was the reluctance to drop a keeper who kept making the odd horlicks, because he fitted the system better, what happens if our Wally (without a brolly) decides Allsop is the man, and does the same ? I mean leopards don't change their spots so he is gonna make bloopers again.
I don't think allsop will be #1 but if he is and the overall style of play is more entertaining and attacking etc it won't be a bone of contention, I think Acun went in hard on it as it was the straw the broke the camels back but wouldn't have been as big of an issue if the other things weren't there either.
For what it's worth, my opinion that allsop won't want to be here

Howden and me have both liked an orange postAcun said himself that if the decision to stick will Allsop had justified itself with success then it would be on him, same as if it's not a success it's on him also.
I think some are over analysing looking for something more that isn't there.
