Sitting in the South Stand and watching the goalies warm up and practice, Pandur is the most agile of them all (including Lo-Tutala). I know that's not the same as playing in a game and I've no idea how he is "with his feet". I'm no expert on goalkeeping but he looks pretty good to me.

So what was the situation with Acun and Fortuna Sittard where Pandur came from ?

Did we get him at a discount ? Was Acun still owed money ?

It wasn't just a coincidence was it ?

Norwich are gonna be up there next season, I just remembered as well they've got Idah to come back from Celtic, though I can't imagine Josh Sargent will be hanging around.

Idah is sub-Netherlands U21 standard, not a good player at all.

Re Pandur we have a goal keeping coach-Barry Richardson right? What does he think of Pandur anybody know?

And if the manager picking his own team rather than the owner's preferred one is seen as "going against the grain" then that really isn't a good situation in my opinion.

Ahead of the fan event the other night, we all understood Acuns reasoning behind letting Rosie go, he'd brought in more attacking players in the hope that we'd play more attacking football and he didn't feel that happened. Explanation given, some agreed, some disagreed, but at least everyone understood his position and that should have been the end of it.

Then he turns up at a fan event and says that Allsop should have been dropped for Pandur, that Ohio should have played more, that Connolly was a little fat ****. All of it completely unnecessary and all of it now leading fans to question how much pressure was being put on the manager to pick certain players.

It served absolutely no purpose, it just led to more people questioning what actually went on, if was very poor management of the situation.

The only difference to what's happening day in day out at clubs across the country is the fact Acun has done it in public. Yea it was poor and as you say has got some asking more questions. But people are making it out to be something it isn't. Owers question stuff re players and performance etc constantly....just not normally in public.

At the time I'd say that it was yourself more than anyone who was criticising it.

It's fair to say that if he hasn't done it in public he could have avoided additional scrutiny though, Don't you agree?

Hopefully it's just down to a difference in culture and he's on a learning curve.

Yup, I agreed 100% with most of what he said, but as I said when it was happening, it should have been behind closed doors
