Fair play, I'm just skeptical about his lack of success and seemingly no one else rushing to get him.

Cheap tickets
Amazing atmosospheres
But we dont need to be disengenuous about the quality of player there

Irvine went there and is still a top player in it which might say a bit.

He was good for us at first but got gradually worse. That last season under McCann he could barely complete a pass.

Yeah I guess my use of the word still is because he's getting on a bit now rather than a comment on his overall quality.

Putting aside views on the rights or wrongs about his leaving us, 100% agree. Unfairly maligned and someone we generally failed to get the best from. A v decent player as he's gone on to prove for club and country.

I have mixed thoughts on this…..I hope he’s a massive success but I would rather go for an experienced championship manager.

is this the coach who likes to play fly goalie?

If that’s him, is it just me or does he not look particularly German? Possibly more Turkish?
Maybe Tim Walter is a pseudonym and he’s being brought in under the radar.
