Rosie did say that he was in charge of recruitment, so I don’t think we’ll be seeing another Acun led influx.

I scratch my head about why he's Head Coach not manager then. It's just a title, but I thought the point of splitting the function was specifically around transfers? Not the end of the world.

Hull City can confirm that Ben Warner has joined the club’s first-team backroom staff as coach analyst.

The 29-year-old reunites with head coach Liam Rosenior and assistant head coach Justin Walker having worked in the coaching set-up together at Derby County.

Warner spent seven years in the Rams’ analysis department, the first four solely with the academy and the last three as head of analysis covering both the senior and youth teams.

Before then, he worked at Nottingham Forest for two years while studying for a master’s degree in MRes Performance Analysis at Nottingham Trent University.

Good that Rosie's 'got his man'.
Very young, but maybe that's how it is with these roles. Doesn't add experience (as in age / wisdom / 'been there ...') as some had hoped. Having said that, there is already Daws, Barry Richardson and Johny Eyre who are not exactly young and have a fair amount of experience to take insights from.
Wonder how that impacts Pardo? Or "can't have too many analysts"?

Hull City have made their second off-field appointment in the space of two days after confirming the arrival of Onur Zayin following Ben Warner's arrival on Thursday.

Zayin will work as a coach with the club's Under-15s and Under-16s at Bishop Burton and arrives with extensive experience working with the Turkish national teams from Under-15s through to the Under-21s.

During a playing career that saw the 36-year-old deployed in the centre of defence, Zayin played for Galatasaray, Beylerbeyi Spor, Bakırköyspor, Catalcaspor, Vefaspor, and Avcilar Bid.

After his arrival was ratified, he described the move to City as an exciting adventure, while academy boss Richard Naylor explained how the move came to pass.

“It’s a really good adventure for me, a big challenge, and the first time I’ll be working out of my country," Zayin told City's website. “I worked for the Turkish FA for 10 years and was head coach of the Under-17 team, also Under-19s, and assistant coach of the Under-21s.

“Lots of experiences and now it’s time to show that here with the academy, develop the young Tigers and take them to the first team.”

“After an extensive recruitment process, Onur impressed us with his tactical and technical knowledge, as well as his work with the Turkish national sides and developing young players," Naylor added.

“Hull City is building more of a profile in Türkiye and that’s helped attract him to the club. We’re really pleased to have secured his services and believe he’ll be a great addition to the academy.”
