Some of Rosys tactics are a bit edge of your seat stuff in these early days, hopefully not so many heart in your mouth moments going forwards, but I for one am enjoying City's football for the first time in a while. Makes a change to not get the programme out to read after 10-15 minutes! :1980_boogie_down:

If we can invite them on and consistently utilise the space behind then I suspect its gonna be a roller-coaster ride.

Other than sentemental reasons why? We already have two young ex-players/defenders on the coaching staff, why would we need another that is even less experienced?

Surely Joyce or another older head is a better option now?
Just my take on Davis as a defender, professional around the club and leader on it.
Anyway TWT

Some quotes from Acun regarding Shota and Liam -

THE FOOTBALL I AM LOOKING FOR IS THE FOOTBALL THAT FENERBAHÇE IS PLAYING RIGHT NOW”
Describing the separation process of Shota Arveladze, Acun Ilıcalı said, “Shota was very successful in Hull City last year. This year we had only one difference of opinion. Our football mind transferred technical players. The teacher also thought more defensively about this. This was also a difference of opinion. Success will not come if we are not all on the same side. The football I'm looking for in Hull City is the football Fenerbahce plays right now. The players we brought came to play this football.”

“MIND STATED IN EMRE BELÖZOĞLU!”
Underlining that Emre Belözoğlu would like to see him as a coach in Hull City, Acun Ilıcalı said, “I met with two of the most important coaches in the world. My mind has always stayed with our Emre Belözoğlu. I always had an Emre Belözoğlu in my mind. Emre's concentration on football, new generation and offensive football… It always impressed me. I found Liam Rosenior, English Emre Belözoğlu. He is an incredibly equipped man.”

Talking about the difficulty of the Championship, Acun Ilıcalı said, “Championship is the hardest league in the world. Each match has 3 possibilities. I do not claim that we will get to the Premier League immediately, but I see a very high probability of success. We have high hopes for Liam Rosenior. This year will be our year of adjustment. We will be more ambitious next year,” he said.

Who is this mystery staffer? Best in the country at what he does apparently
The way Liam is talking it sounds like some sort of analyst. But if he or she is an analyst sort of begs the question where does that leave Beri Pardo whom Liam and others have refered to in favorable terms.
