The circumstances around the Shota sacking seemed a lot like the issue was him not wanting to play a back four. We'd played back 3 for weeks while Shota insisted we didn't have the players for a back 4. Then suddenly at Swansea we played a 4 and brought in Vale out of nowhere, we played even worse than we had been doing and soon afterwards it was agreed that Acun and Shota were no longer aligned in their thinking.
Wouldn't be terribly surprised if the issue with new managers is them being told they must play a back four because Acun thinks it's more attacking.
And to be fair if it is about a back 4, it's the same as what most on here were demanding too.
Can’t believe he’d be telling Pedro he doesn’t have the authority to change formation? The circumstances around the Shota sacking seemed a lot like the issue was him not wanting to play a back four. So a bit like Ehab's "We're a 4-3-3" club.
So you're saying Acun learned from the best?![]()

Yes, although for all Ehab's extensive list of faults, I don't think that was ever a real thing.

Whether it was enforced or not but Ehab 100% said this in a public interview that we were a 433 club. He talked about it being throughout the club from juniors to senior team.

So this is worse?
Joking aside, I'd really hope Acun isn't really insisting we play a certain formation.
I have begun to have the same feeling as the McCann relegation season.
I don't think things are that bad, but I do agree that the managerial position needs sorting sooner rather than later. Letting things drift is not doing the club any favours IMO. Now that it seems as is Martins is likely to go elsewhere, lets move on ourselves. Wilder's odds seem to be shortening
