All I said is I find it to hard to believe he isn't having an influence at all on team selection. Like I said, to me it looks like it from the available evidence. They clearly fell out over something and there is a clear pattern around the recent change from a back 3 to a back 4. If you see it differently that's fine.

I've probably got a splinter arse from sitting on the fence.
But I assumed the change from back 3 to 4 was Dawson trying to tighten the defence cos its not like a back 3 was working.

As for a falling out, guessing it's about team selection is just as good as guessing he was fed up of Shota blocking the bog

Apparently Wednesday is the most boring day of the week I agree with that got to find some spark from somewhere.
Brady is alright he wears his heart on his sleeve.

He's spending more than £16m on fees and wages this season, so yes, he's spent it all. He certainly didn't 'trouser it'.
How do you know how much has been spent and more importantly how much the wage bill is? The KLP money was already in the club. It wasn't new money or an investment. Our best asset was sold to fund the incoming players. The jury is still out whether or not we have got good value.
We will have a better idea at the end of our first financial year as to how well 'we' have done.
No-one wants another David Lloyd situation at the club.

Acun isn't David Lloyd. Why assume that's going to be the case? Pearson brough a load in when he first arrived and it took a lot of turnover on the playing/managerial side before we got out of the bottom division. Was he a Lloyd situation also?

Suspect this years accounts will show a level of investment above and beyond the KLP fee.

Also suspect the accounts over the next 3 years will also show a level of investment close to the losses permissible under FFP.

Lambretta always posts in a matter of fact way.
Arrogant prick I wouldn’t even bother.

Some ITK info for you all -

We have 3 managers shortlisted, one is an international manager. Not really sure what they mean by this, maybe managed a national team or just not British?

Doesn’t really narrow it down but that’s the info I’ve been given

Hear any suggestion that of one of the potentials is South American?

Good appointment. Experience working in English football and big clubs. Can also speak Turkish and Portuguese :emoticon-0105-wink:
But surely odd to appoint a new member of coaching staff permanently when we are presumably going to bring in a new manager/head coach who will want his own people around him. Has Mr.Pardo been suggested by whoever Acun is supposedly chasing, or is he just doing his own thing again, rercuiting people he knows and leaving whoever is then appointed as manager to see if they want the guy. Anyone ITK?

Will have to wait and see. If he's around permanently then with his scouting experience and interesting title then he maybe envisaged to be working in a similar role to Darno or replacing that role between the academy and the first team that Pennock used to have. They've also brought in Stockdale, but no one seems to be suspicious about that one for some reason.

Looks to me like they're just getting bodies in and around Baz and Daws for the time being as having lost Shota and PVV then there'll be the same workload with half the coaching staff
