Les needs to be a bit less thin skinned on twitter. It's ok for not everyone to love the kit.

I’m not sure why we’ve got some bloke that runs a social media page designing kits for us in the first place. I’m assuming he’s another one that got the job by being someone’s mate?

Surely one of the few reasons to go with a small manufacturer was to get bespoke designs, but they didn’t even do that, they just outsourced it!

I'll be honest it's steadily growing on me, might all come down to the sponsor.

If anyone more It savvy than me can do a colour swap so the amber bits are black and the black bits are amber I'd be interested.

Strangely I saw someone say that if it was an Adidas kit with the trifoil logo everyone would love it and showed a pic of the same kit with that logo and I actually think it looked infinitely better

I think thats totally true. Its not too fare removed from the all time favourite adidas kit of the same era.

I really like it though as others have said maybe a sign of age/nostalgia but think it will grow on people. Love the white shorts (maybe with a black/amber stripe and definately black/amber socks.

Oxen has shifted a **** ton of gear for Rovers both replica shirts and training kit. Should be good to have a local company as long as the quality and production responsiveness is good.

Fact is that over the last 20 years including the prem years there have been some garbage template kits from major suppliers, adidas some of the worst/least creative.

It’s interesting the comments that say they don’t like it simply say that.

The comments that say they do then go out of their way to complain about those that don’t like it. The shirt itself has been divisive - why do its defenders need to be too? Both on here and on social media.

I wonder how we’ll handle the shirt numbers and names on the back. All-amber back panel with black numbers and letters or all-black back panel with white numbers and letters?

Les had seen it before release, I heard.

I like the 70s vibe, the badge (again for the 70s nostalgia and the sticking it to those who wanted rid of our history). I like the long sleeve version versus the regular short sleeves too. I don’t think it looks great on McBurnie though, so hopefully they make him some shirts that fit.

The option of getting the kit without a sponsor on it is something I would have loved when we had a succession of crappy bookies.

That Newcastle shirt, do you think the players shirts all have a subtle difference? A scanner reads the shirts as each player come down the tunnel and onto the pitch so the stadium announcer can call out the number.
