As I have posted I don’t like the shirt.

It is marmite.

I think it looks cheap and I buy polo shirts from supermarkets!
I don’t like the collar, the cut under the arms and the central broad black strip will not look good over my beer belly.
I might be swayed if the colours were swapped. Or mainly black with amber central stripe with a black collar. As long as the black wasn’t too shiny.
The borstal inmates team strip keepers kit needs to be a meaningful colour and I would like to see Corporation Blue, rather than 1970s British Army truck green.

He's going on a big social media crusade defending the kit from mean words.
I saw something on social media from HullCitykits museum? last night, in answer to a post from someone asking why the club badge/crest has been binned. They said no-one complained in 1975?
I was around in 1975 and to me the kit reminds me of the Billy Bremner season and Billy Bremner wearing that kit. Not a particular good time for City because the club were on the decline from then on wards, ( and before) which finished up with the appointment of Mike Smith at the end of the decade and Receivership. I just don't see any valid reason why the club badge should be left off the shirt, does anyone know why it is?
Is Les M HullCitykitsmuseum?

That Newcastle shirt, do you think the players shirts all have a subtle difference? A scanner reads the shirts as each player come down the tunnel and onto the pitch so the stadium announcer can call out the number.
Could be some sort of scanning in/scanning out concept and you're paid by the minutes you're on the pitch.

A bit like the old clocking on/clocking off at workplaces (though this could be fraught with fraudelent activity like clocking your mate in or out if he was late or ****ed off early)...

Obviously the only way to defraud this latest method is to swap shirts with your mate?

That aside, the shirt is sh!t and looks as if it's been based on the film 'The boy in the striped pyjamas '.

Should come with an advisory warning that under no circumstances should it be worn anywhere near a concentration camp...

I might not like it, but this is ridiculous.

I actually think that we might be playing a blinder with this.

Release the shirt, sell out the stock without any logos on them. Meanwhile, sack off the design, say you have listened to fans and get a new one out just in time for Christmas.
The retro purists are happy and fat ****s like me can have their day as well!
Double bubble.
