Only thing you can tell in your seat is whether it’s striped or plain so can’t say I’m really bothered. It’s a bit honking though

Surprised so many are disappointed, I think this is a beautiful, classic kit and a really strong launch. No kit will ever be to everyone's taste, but when there's so much garish tat about, something as clean as that is as good as it gets for me.

Revealing it this early, and making it available by Friday is brilliant work. The accompanying video is excellent, and the little extra few frames at the end of it is a glorious addition that made me grin like an idiot when I saw it. Really well played City.

No complaints with the stripes but where's the club badge gone? Also the keepers kit is too dark. Keepers kits these days are are bright as they can get away with for a reason. Its because it has been proved that a bright kit makes them look bigger between the sticks. Dark green will hardly stand out in night games.
Also are we still actually called Hull City Associated Football Club? I thought the 'associated' bit was dropped from our title years ago?

Surely you are aware that the Allams were only able to remove it from the business name, which is irrelevant. They were not able to change the name of the club and it remains Hull City AFC.

You're right about the bright colours for keepers and I did think the same, but the classic green is beautiful on the other hand.

Agree on the use of dark green for keepers.
Seems less than ideal for them appearing bigger and it being more obvious when they’re fouled

Reactions: Trumpton Tiger.

People are more annoyed at what it represents.

It’s a kit designed for the Championship, on a deal that’s been undersold, made by a rugby kit manufacturer who’s mates with our COO.

It shows a complete lack of commercial acumen, ambition and fore planning, something that has plagued our commercial department for years.

First goal McBurnie scores next season at home, he’ll take his shirt off to celebrate and refuse to put it back on.

How much more should the commercial team be generating?

Hmm
I’m not the target audience here, so not sure my opinion counts.
I don’t mind it though.
I’m surprised we aren’t using a tiger crest for marketing purposes. It seems an opportunity wasted.
Surely no one can mind a bit of HCAFC though!
As far as it being Oxen I’d much rather it was a local supplier with local links so that’s fine by me. All you need is good quality and TWT on that.
Not sure what they’ll do regarding the numbering distinction on the back though. I hated that one we had a few years ago that was stripes on the front and an entirely black back…it looked like there was 3 teams on the pitch.
Anyway I’m not buying one…so it’s no change from every other season for me

PS - Keepers shirt looks a decent pub/holiday shirt
