Last year of Adidas deal - think this was something that was already set in motion.

Agree with most - far too white! I also don't like the red band behind the charity logo - think it might look better if that was just the text

That said - I will buy it and I will wear it!!!

I saw on Twitter this morning pics of it before Betdaq pulled out. It looked much better. I can't find the tweet now otherwise I'd post it on here.

It would definitely look better with black writing in front of the red and white instead of a red band almost making it a cross on the chest! Think that's the thing that I really don't like.

Might be a grower - first shirt I haven't liked for a long time

I've not liked most of the adidas ones when they've first come out but they've all, except the last really white one and the thin stripes, grown on me eventually.

Was buzzing when we got adidas, i love adidas as a brand, probably my favourite across all aspects of clothing, but they haven’t done a single kit that’s been great.

Some ok ones, few bits of sharp training kit, but the kits have been bang average, at best.

Like others have said, despite them being a massive global manufacturer I’d be delighted to see one of Umbro, Hummel or Macron next time, so we actually get a kit with some thought into it.

I will say it’s better than I thought, far from the worse, but they have all just been bog standard as ****, apart from the monstrosity that was the popcorn bag bullshit last season.

So, pictures surfacing of folk bought the new kit, and it’s literally a sticker over the Betdaq logo.

If you turn the shirt inside out, it’s clearly visible underneath.

For £50. Staggering by Adidas, and worse from the club.

Absolutely! Betdaq have pulled out of shirt sponsorship completely - but this smacks of someone who doesn't give a damn about football fans doing something on the cheap

I like that we've given the space to a worthy cause but if what @Nads says is true, its shoddy execution.

It's "cheap" for something that costs £50 if that is the case

I think it's ****ing hideous, personally, and the Sid wallet will not be depleted by its purchase.

I just don't understand why people make something as simple as red and white stripes so complicated. I'll stick with the 1973 replica until they come up with something that I don't have to explain to people, or which doesn't require that other Sunderland fans explain it to me...

It truly is mate. Not as if adidas couldn’t afford the write off.

To then sell them at full price is absolutely staggering. They are effectively altered goods.

I’ll stick to polo shirts, the same as I’ve worn for the match for some 18 years.

I always assume I’ll wanna be out for a bit after.
