Have always looked for Fiorentina results since we played them in the 1970s. They played in white that night but someone with them had a first team shirt on and I liked the colours. Seeing them on TV when they had Batistuta, one of my favourite players, was always worth watching,

I wandered through a JD Sports yesterday and saw the new England kits in the flesh for the first time, the away kit is actually really nice, but the home shirt is really poor (it’s like a snide knock-off).

Concept kits online are usually ****e but this one on Twitter, which looks like it’s based on the retro club jackets this year, looks decent. I’ve said before but I like the red trim from some of our 80s kits.

The best City kit was the Adidas kit from about 1981. The football was awful at the time but that kit has never been bettered.
