Don’t usually buy kits anymore but I love retro shirts so I got one. Small and medium sold out in 10 minutes.
I don't get why they can't have more stock for these kind of things, same with the last retro jackets they made, sold out almost instantly. If they want to bring in more money for the club then just have more stock available for the shirts, i was going to buy the jacket and shirt and both sold out in my size. No doubt some people will just buy them to put on eBay again like last time at some daft price.
I was lucky enough to see the tweet and checkout on the website because by the time my order was complete my size was out of stock
Agree though it's good the club are getting onboard the retro craze, meanwhile the quality of Kappa needs addressing.
Not being funny though, why do these retro shirts look better quality than our Kappa kits last season, especially the home one? The Kappa kit last year looked poor quality. The stripes weren’t symmetrical as it seems they just haphazardly stitched the front bit of fabric onto the sides in a cookie-cutter sort of way. The badges were naff and people said they peeled off in one wash. This retro shirt looks like it’s completely symmetrical regardless of size and has embroidered badges.
Would be happy if they just made this retro one our current one. Retro kits i always think look nicer than modern ones.
I agree. I’ve said before on here I’d like a retro-inspired kit similar to our ones from the 80s, similar to last season’s Kappa tracksuit jackets. I love a collar on a football shirt and simple but classy designs. I don’t get modern kits because I don’t like the materials or how slim-fitting they are or the **** designs. I’m a medium but I like the loose-fitting older shirts if you’re just wearing it with jeans or something. Those skin-tight football shirts look ridiculous unless you’re a player wearing the full kit.
Rover could fit in a small, with room to spare, skinny fecker. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
