Have always looked for Fiorentina results since we played them in the 1970s. They played in white that night but someone with them had a first team shirt on and I liked the colours. Seeing them on TV when they had Batistuta, one of my favourite players, was always worth watching,
I wandered through a JD Sports yesterday and saw the new England kits in the flesh for the first time, the away kit is actually really nice, but the home shirt is really poor (it’s like a snide knock-off).

The best City kit was the Adidas kit from about 1981. The football was awful at the time but that kit has never been bettered.
I really liked the '64 kit, though that's possibly because the top looks like it could be out of my last range The shirt sponsors on modern kits would probably prevent a chest hoop shirt being revisited. please log in to view this image
That's the one. I don't ever recall it being on general sale. The club shop behind the south stand was a sight to behold.
