Mind I don’t agree with this.Yes our tactic of being defensively disciplined and forcing the opponent to make mistakes in possession before counter attacking ferociously into the space they've left, is going to be less effective against teams who sit back against us and let us have possession.
Will be interesting to see how we adapt to that. As thus far all the games we've played the opponents have been trying to dominate possession.
first half against Portsmouth they kept lumping the ball to the target man and were happy sitting in playing for a 0-0
RLB even said in his post match that at half time they had to solve the problem of getting past there short passes to long ball.
so that is the first example of how we beat a team, we scored a goal late in first half by playing a nice passing move
