RLB is someone who we have admired for sometime. He has a reputation for developing young players and with a strong background in academy development, we feel he can fit and improve our group here. During this process, we have never wavered from our system and approach, ensuring we get the right head coach to lead us into the new season. We look forward to working with RLB and welcome him to wear side.

Something like this id imagine.
Be funny as **** it Speakman stole this word for word.

Are you Exile II

Asking for a friend (see above).

No, but I'm finally finding out what happened to him by the looks of it.

Surely you would just put people on ignore rather then actively demanding a banning from the mods. If bog standard posters are having any kind of influence on mods then it's doomed. Everyone falls out with everyone at some point over something.

Who runs the forum, the mods or the self appointed committee?

Had a look through youtube for a bit more on Le Bris and found these highlights of Lorient’s 4-1 home win over Lille in August 2023. Good pressing from the front led to them nicking a couple of the goals. The match stats at the end were surprising. 35% possession. I suppose Lille are one of the Ligue 1 big guns so could dominate in the same way as the top 6 in the Premier League.

(seems there are restrictions on embedding this one unfortunately)

I don't agree with that but I'm 100% confident that we'll give the new bloke a fair go. It's hard to imagine how bad Beale's reception would have been had we signed him on the back of a relegation but Le Bris is foreign so automatically has credit in the bank.

I think there's something in that TBH.

Beale had little to lose and taking the job barely disrupted his life ...

... he didn't have to move home, let alone country, and knew he'd just be paid off if things didn't work out

If Le Bris comes here, bringing trusted staff who must trust him, he's making a big commitment.

I'd guess that says something important, about him, and puts a lot more pressure on him to succeed.

Worth a watch though, well found.

Possession has become this weird cult-attracting be all and end all. Like if you win the stats it means you must win the game. It's what you do with the ball that matters, as we're seeing in the Euros.

High possession only works in the championship if you’ve got players a level above like Leicester did last season. Most teams only have a few players with the technical ability to play keep ball for 90 minutes. Not interested in possession stats. What we do with the ball is what matters.

That's true.

So Hamish 73 gets banned, and within minutes we get this numpty on. Obviously the same person as he has the same logic. Do us all a favour and do one otr. You're not welcome here if all you can post is negative stuff, without knowing the facts
I hear ya mate but we can’t be telling anyone with negative opinions to bugger off.

It mustn’t make for a nice time thinking about the negatives of supporting Sunderland all the time is all I can say

This is my one and only post on the Hamish thing, not sure what he said needed reporting. But the idea of the report button is for mods to review the post, so the banning is still in their hands
But in fairness his first post was just to wind people up and claiming to have outed the ITK’s, which is clearly not the case. I also don’t get people who have a negative slant on the way the club is run, aren’t welcome either. It’s a messageboard and both sides of the argument are valid, some people, me included, are a bit pessimistic and always err on the side of caution. I am the Gareth Southgate of message boards. I think I’m right to be negative, you the pundits can lace me all ower, but I will still think I’m right and do it all the more.

We could see significant improvement on the French lads performances with the new fella, communication will improve and that can only be a good thing. With the new staff that’s coming with him it’s the reset we’ve needed for a while now, I look forward to a whole new fresh approach. Big summer ahead
