This is why I am keeping an open mind. Compared to some of the names we have been linked with, Bris seems like an underwhelming option but looking at stats he is probably no more of a risk than Still. Really hope he brings an assistant with him mind.

Although he hasn't been announced yet and we have been down this road before.

... I always wondered what he'd do when he was kicked out of politics <laugh>

He was spotted earlier at the AOL being introduced to the players ...

We tried O’Neil didn’t work, we tried Moyes didn’t work. no guarantee with the majority, I can’t say I am happy with Bris but we will just have to wait and see. Don’t crucify him before he even gets started.

No, we'll all just gradually drift away from the thread and eventually it will be forgotten about.


Then in 7 years time, as we're about to play our second successive Champions League quarter final, someone will revive it and we'll all marvel that there was once a time when some people distrusted 'the model' and weren't happy with appointing Regis.

This model has brought us experinced players to complimnet what we have, the issue was last summer we didnt bring in enough ready to play players. This model took us out of L1 and got us to the Championship playoffs, we then had a really poor window

That poor window can happen with any model. I remember one under bruce where we just seemed to sign slow CMs, but the windows before with him were good

There isnt 1 set model that guarantees you success

This model is the way we can be succesful long term

Im talking about the summer windows, January windows are always pretty tough but yeah the last 2 havent been great

Summer windows are the most important for teams, we had 2 out of 3 spot on under him
