Sounds plausible. Just before the war my mam and dad rented a big house in Bournemouth just before I was born. They took in lodgers to pay the rent. Dad wanted to buy the house and turn it into a B&B. But mam wanted to return to the north-east to be near her family. If dad had got his way I would be living in a warm and sunny part of the country and supporting Bournemouth. And laughing at the goings on at Sunderland f.c. But mam got her way (don’t they always?) and I’ve ended up in red and white chains and part of those goings on!A close relative of mine was a journalist covering Forest and he told me the reason Clough never came to Sunderland was his wife Barbara didn't want to move back to the North East
Upthere, (who is a decent poster otr) insinuates that £900,000 is the release clause in his contract. I'm not a one who wants to argue or fall out with anyone and I get excited with anything posted but why if he is right would we be paying more
Yeah, there can’t be any kind of tribunal if there’s a specified buy outThis is how my conversation went, paraphrasing:
"It's Cifuentes, all down to compensation now".
"Isn't that £900k?, just pay that?".
"I'm told the negotiations are in considerable excess of that and QPR are looking for a windfall due to the disruption this will cause to their season".
I assumed this to mean the 900k buy-out doesn't exist. That's why I asked if anyone can provide a link or information that confirms if it exists.
Is nowNothing on QPR’s boards mind, you’d of thought there’d be something.
Only thing that I have seen around Cifuentes release payment was Nixon. He only said it was 6 figures. This is how my conversation went, paraphrasing:

Did ok at Shields. What have you heard? No thanks... haven't heard the best of things about his time at Shields and Hartlepool.
how many head coaches in the championship had never managed there before taking their current appointment, do you know? Genuine enquiry, not looking for an argument. They've all be in non-league so quite what credentials he has to manage in the Championship I don't know
Not confirmed the names mateHas scout confirmed the 3 names?
Similar. I was born in Hertford where my dad had been stationed in the police. He met my mum, who was from there and got her up the duff. They got married and I was born, in that order. Anyway, mum had post natal depression so it was decided I would go and live with my grandparents in Sunderland until mum got better and I’d go back to Hertford. Didn’t quite work out like that. Thirteen years later I went back to my mum and dad who had moved to Sunderland shortly after I did (that’s another story in itself). Had things gone according to plan I’d most likely be a dyed in the wool Man U supporter calling Hertford my home town by now, if I followed football at all, as my dad wasn’t interested in the game. It was my grandad who got me addicted ( the daft bugger).Sounds plausible. Just before the war my mam and dad rented a big house in Bournemouth just before I was born. I just hope if it is done, it's done soon, already losing my mind at how long it is taking hahaQPR are in the same boat as us as in they want someone in for the start of preseason. Any fee they’ve quoted is the starting point for negotiations and can only come down from there. It’s who blinks first, they’ll want it done, either stays or goes, as soon as possible so they can start their own recruitment process.
Will they want to risk a tribunal? As there’s no guarantees they’ll get what they want so do they lower their expectations and get it done with?
A lot will depend on Cifuentes, if his head has been turned do they really want to keep him?
if it is Cifuentes then my guess is we’ll agree a fee with them and it’ll be done.
He might be tedious but unfortunately he is 100% accurate whether people like it or not. That Copley fella is a tedious twat with his daily tweet of how many days it has been
We shall seeYeah both should be but not in a statement about a bit part player leaving, guessing he will be asked all of this in the first press conference after the head coach is signed

Quite right, we need people like this to keep us informed ...
... otherwise we may not have noticed we don't have a manager, or even be able to count.
Perhaps Methven was right and we're all thick, you included.
How he missed out in the latest King's birthday honours list is hard to comprehend.
Is he related to the speaking clock ?

Dunno but I've heard he likes a bong![]()

Your the 2nd person to say that in the last hour, I'm trying to find out if it's trueIs Speakman still talking about new coach and first team affairs? I've got a suspicious he's been moved aside to u21s
