Scott was offered the job before Beal, but Carley would not move up here, after the debacle of a move when he played for the scum.

KLD was only involved in the deal for Still and that was nothing to do with Speakman?

From bobs messages it looks like KLD ran the show for Still's recruitment then handed back to Speakman. I'm not happy if this is true.

There is a rumour going around re that but not sure where it's come from. It's not what I have heard anyway.
So it was either KLD in the first instance who found it hard or it was KS and KLD thought what a **** show this is and got involved? I’m torn

I never understood stuff like this:
"Keane is monitoring the situation and would be keen on the role if the opportunity presented itself."
He's obviously not monitoring closely enough, the opportunity has been there for a while now, just needs to stick his application in.
If it’s true about the KLD/Still interview I’d be looking for another job if I was KS. He either thought it would be easy and wanted the ‘glory’ or thought KS wasn’t up to the job.
