Interesting this. I thought he was speaking quite well if not really saying any profound.
But some of the players look disengaged and bored out of their minds.

Totally artificial situation with the cameras in the dressing room though. He’ll have felt obliged to say something for them. If you put a camera in any work place where you wouldn’t normally have one, everyone acts differently.Probably wanting to get home, or wherever. Not sure if that type of speech is needed. Fantastic performance, we will chat about it on Monday, have a great break, maybe its just me

Herr Klopp is due in on a plane from Germany soon.Well he shouldnt have felt obliged, no need to do anything different, if that was different to his normal aftermatch speech. FFS where is our new headcoach?
Best case scenario for me, Rosenior confirmed alongside a free scoring striker from EuropeHerr Klopp is due in on a plane from Germany soon.

Been looking on RTG and the amount of people saying we shouldn’t be playing possession based football at SAFC baffles me. It’s became the new normal and there’s a load of people moaning about the fact we won’t just get it straight up the pitch.
I personally don’t think we should be stuck playing a certain way because we are SAFC also Mowbray’s style was very possession based but with a bit more attacking emphasis and that was only a couple years ago so not sure how that’s the definitive way Sunderland should play.
I dunno just think a lot of people are writing off this style even though it’s becoming the preferred style of a lot of teams these days
As ever, much of the debate on things from politics to football essentially boil down to ‘things were better when I was young’Been looking on RTG and the amount of people saying we shouldn’t be playing possession based football at SAFC baffles me. Yes mine got me up at 6.30 this morning. Bit earlier than normal. Wouldn't be without them though. Worth the early rises.Made me smile for the first time today, been up since 04:30 (normal) but in a ****ing **** mood, may have to kill one of the dogs if it irritates me one more time!
We certainly need someone to iron out the wrinkles at our club!I think there's an element of 'Football Manager' creeping in whereby people are transferring their 'skills' into real life.
There can't just be A Style, set in stone, because you have to play against visiting teams that may come to park the bus or press high.
Then you have to go away and adapt to the opposition ... some teams are PL, some L1 in their styles and ability ... you have to play differently if you're winning/losing/drawing ... you sometimes have to change style to cope with the loss of players to suspension/injury/sale or when a tactic/player has 'been sussed' and the opposition 'double up' or whatever.
That's why I'd like a manager who can think on his feet and not just carry on regardless ...
... otherwise the choice of manager is obvious

I’ve been reading some of the comments over there and I’ve never seen so many wailing fannies in all my life. One poster said the majority of fans don’t want possession football, have they done a poll of all Sunderland fans?Been looking on RTG and the amount of people saying we shouldn’t be playing possession based football at SAFC baffles me. Not a chance would I want a manager who accepted the mags invitation to name their ground after him.I think there's an element of 'Football Manager' creeping in whereby people are transferring their 'skills' into real life.

It’s embarrassing and toxic as it’s ever been over there. Some have completely lost their heads.
