Heckingbottom looking better than some of the options being posited lately.
The club didn't make it public that they were chasing him, they haven't said anything on targetsThey are a total shambles. Its completely undeniable.
You dont publically chase someone for 3 months then not get them. Every other Head Coach then knows they are not first choice and its just embarrassing.
Their 'process' is a total disaster yet again.
In recent years we've had Moyes, Ross, Parky, Grayson, Johnson, Beale.... Chill. How bad can our next appointment be??

Honestly mate, I have seen him coach up front. Way better than people think. Did he really fail at Hull? Not according to fans. At Derby he was brilliant.Ive actually come around to the idea of rosenior - i know you are a big fan and i just think he will have a massive chip on his shoulder for next season and some team could really benefit from that kind of attitude
I clearly remember @Magnus a couple of days ago saying unless WS has ripped up the agreement then he is confident he will be the new head coach. According to reports that's exactly what has happened. He agreed then changed his mind.
100%. Post of the dayWe need to make sure we sign the right coach/manager. If it wasn't Still, then it's onto the next one. The club are a closed book, baring some inside info from some good ITK lads on here, **** all gets out these days. People can disagree with me and respect to all concerned, but we've rushed people through the door in the past and it's went tits up. I'll reserve judgement until the new man comes in. For all we know, Still could be an arrogant pratt and not a fit for us, and IF he wants to stay safe and stay in France in a safe 1 team leauge, rather than test himself in one of the hardest leauges in the world, then that's up to him, says more about him than us, and he spoke (reportedly) to Norwich and possibly didn't fancy that. Onto the next one.All of the above is ofcourse in Mt opinion. Oh and @Magnus , you can piss off with the leaving this board ****e aswell mate, goal posts move, stay on here where you belong. We await your response.
Oh and if what's reported is true that Still verbally agreed to come then U-Turned at the last minute, then as much as folk don't like the set up, we can't be blamed for that, and while I'm not nieve, I don't want someone like that figure heading our club. Once folk have calmed down, they'll realise Speakman will be as pissed off as the fans are. We've literally been used.
Right now I think Heckingbottom is getting more likely. Yes I get what fans will say...100 plus days and up up with Heckingbottom!
I know as a collective most fans think we can get better...but it's very clear...we can't.
I'd be ok with him.
yeah about thisI clearly remember @Magnus a couple of days ago saying unless WS has ripped up the agreement then he is confident he will be the new head coach. According to reports that's exactly what has happened. He agreed then changed his mind.
Possession football is my idea of how to play. All I have ever wanted to coach. Southampton showed what it can do. We have the players for it too.Not sure our fanbase has the patience for the growing pains period but i'd love someone to come in and try to pass teams to death. Puts your players in the shop window as well as the top clubs all play that way.
Rosenior would be ****e. Failed to get a better squad in the play-offs. Not good enough for Hull but good enough for SAFC? Aye, roll on the mid table consolidation.Would be disappointed with Heck or Rosenior but neither would be the disaster many will make out.
I just hope the reaction to them isn’t the same as Beale as that will give our fanbase a terrible reputation.

He wouldn’t deliver what a club and fanbase like ours expects. Then again, a lot have lowered expectations and are happy to doddle along…like I say I’d be disappointed but I don’t think he’d be as bad as you do. Just opinions
