You could say the same about Steve Evans then, or any manager. That would be stupid and simplistic
I mean no manager can be a failure cos of other factors
Why, he's a lower league manager who plays long ball and is a bug bully but can get results and certain clubs. Certainly not at a big club like safc

I have it on authority from my mate Roger who is on holiday in Lower Largo, that his mate who lives on the south side of the Forth, in the heart of Lothian, Derek William Dick will be making an announcement on his Podcast at 6pm tomorrow.

The theme of the podcast will be.

Patience is rewarded

I'll be in the Railway, Lower Largo, at 4pm tomorrow if he fancies a pint <cheers>

I don't want Heckingbottom either. But this idea that Relegation=Bad Manager isn't correct.
You see this is where people stretch things, I clearly said that Heckingbottom was failing, hence the sack. You then said it could be the players, absolving him of anything. At no time have I said relegation isn’t equal to a bad manager as he never had the chance to get relegated. I’d have Kompany here, and I’d have Rob Edwards here. It’s more the manner and the performance of this. Heckingbottom’s pro rata points would have been around 14 for the season. That is appalling and quite a failure. Does that mean he will fail everywhere? Of course it doesn’t, it just means I wouldn’t touch him. I bet he’s embarrassed at his performance in the premier league.

When I look at our previous appointments under this regime, it’s managers that are on the decline:

Neil
Mowbray
Beale

All out of work and not sort after. All also taken 2 + weeks to bring in, which is a long time during a season.

IMO all 3 of those managers would have agreed to work in circumstances that perhaps they wernt 100% comfortable with, just to get back into management.

All 3 had a pop at the club on the way out, aimed at the boardroom.

There seems to be a trend.

I don’t know, but IMO managers don’t want to work with the current set up here. We know Keane didn’t.

We’ve now been looking for a manager since February so how many managers have they approached in that time and we are still no further forward?

I think KLDs hearts in the right place and the club has pushed forward under him. But somethings not quite right and I think supporters can sense that.

But what you're doing here is absolving the Sheff Utd players of any of the blame in that.
