he’s now doubling down saying “believe me, some don’t”
Still has a great reputation with players at his former clubs so i believe the tweet is just stiring things

None have worked with him and most are unlikely to know any players that have worked with him

If its true dodds is leaving then some players will be sad hes going and some will be nervous about a new manager coming in but thatll be it

We need a clean break from some on that front bench. No doubt about it.

Some will have looked at his style/ formation etc and thought “ I don’t fit in that”. Would happen for any head coach. Some might also genuinely feel they need a more experienced influence.

Whichever manager comes in will have that effect.

Unless you're a club with a rigid style, as Ajax were, there'll be changes to make.

I’m not convinced footballers are that switched on and aware of stuff like this. They are definitely more of a “love the one you are with” type of personality.

If they're getting picked, they'll think he's the best manager in the world. If they're not getting picked they'll think he's an idiot and doesn't know what he's doing.

if it wasn't preseason it would be easier to judge but when the squad were told still was are number one choice before the season ended, most were pretty happy, and my mate says him and who he's talked since the season ended are all happy with still
Seems daft/strange telling the players that. I’d rather we waited until whoever it was had signed on the dotted line.

happens all the time mate, same happened with keane and same happened with poyet, that's why i won't be happy until it's announced we are probably at the same stage where them two were at last time

but the club do it to get the feel of the players thoughts , that's how you end up getting people hearing who the club would like
