No thats my point, Dack and O'Nien play basically whenever available but have no sell on, which makes no sense if Speakman is picking the team.
his background was the Birmingham academy right? He’s clearly a very good operator when it comes to the footballing structure of a club. But his entire philosophy of football is about developing youngsters. Not winning.
Id be very happy with him as our academy director. Much like id be very happy with Dodds as our first team coach. Both have been promoted beyond their capabilities.
honestly I really hope not. Because when you look at the potential for owners to be wronguns, he’s a million miles away from a problem.

He isn't picking the team. He makes suggestions and spotlights players who are encouraged to get more minutes.He should have zero say.
He's starting to remind me of the fella who used to own a few bars in the town. Used to call him 'chocolate' because he really loved himself. Can't remember the lads name but he went on that come dine withe show.

Like I said, I don't care for Speakman but this is not a thing to criticise him for.
I agree mate. I also think Beale will probably be a good coach on the training pitch. Standing on the sideline in front of 40k is different gravy though, it takes something different to be able to handle that.

He’s a topper bloke but I’m not gonna mention his name. I’ve known him over 20 year, not seen him once Covid mind.
devils advocate here because I agree with you but we don’t know that Tone “snapped” do we? He was sacked. I mean it was clear there was a falling out but it’s not like he walked.

No. The fact is , he shouldn't be influencing the head coach to give certain players more game time.
I know you accept zero negatives mate but everything that was said to you in December / January is playing out exactly.

To be fair if Speakman has been doing this then he also got us promoted and into play offs last year
