Seriously who gives a flying **** how anyone talks? If you can't listen to an interview by Beale because of how he says something that says more about you than it does about him.

I'd never heard a manager speak until Stokoe and had no idea who the owners were ...

... people nowadays want to know which school the manager went to and what his grades were.

Bob Shankly would've told them to grow up or f**k off.

That's absolutely right. When the Anglo-Saxon settlers arrived, they brought with them several different but related languages that displaced the languages that were already spoken here (British Latin and what would incorrectly be called 'Celtic' languages). They then developed in to English.

By the way, it's called King's English possibly because 1. Henry V started using English, rather than Norman French, as the legal language for the country. It expressed the King's will in a language that all could understand.
Or
2. It is the standard version of English established at King's College, Cambridge
<ok>

Pardon my French ...

So did we.

We're fighting for promotion, they're fighting relegation ...

... who's doing better in your opinion?

Honest answer?
Do you believe Beale was first choice?

We’re fighting for a play-off spot so we’re obviously doing better, for now.

still was first choice and i believe it was all very close to being done even to the point of compensation agreed , but the club wouldn't budge on the back room staff , Kjetil Knutsen was also someone else we were in talks with, but same problem, once beales time with us up by moving to a different club after doing well or being sacked, dodds will be are next gaffer

Clear as day Beale was never first choice. It would’ve been done earlier if that was the case. He’s just a yes man imo and will fail here. We’ll see.

Yes.

The likes of Still wanted the club to abandon their principles, sack the coaches and allow them to have a say in signings ...

... the club wanted someone to fit their plans, not bring in their own.

You’d defend the club no matter what, so there’s no debate to be had here.

Let’s see how Beale goes…

Thanks NC. As often, an education!

Just look at the facts

Neil when given players to work with by Speakman = success

Neil when in charge of recruitment at stoke = failure

Mowbray when in charge of recruitment at Blackburn = best finish 8th, along with an 11th and two 15th finishes.

Mowbray when given players to work with by Speakman = 6th

I'd defend it too. Certainly in the coaching choice. What would be the point of doing otherwise?

But as for seeing how they go. The same would apply to anyone. I know sod all about most of them, but whoever is the manager, or coach is the club's guy, which means he's our guy as well.

They bloke had to get a lot wrong before that changes. A lot.
