Good assessment. I admit to being hard to convince about the seeming obsession with young wonder coaches from the continent. I think some owners are being seduced by the prospect of another Pep or Klopp being unearthed. If it is Still, and I would be surprised, I hope he is as good as the budding reputation. For me though there would be better options out there if we perhaps broadened what seem to be our criteria.

I read his name last night when he was linked and info about him is sketchy to say the least.

The little bits I have read is he's been an assistant and very occasional (6 game) caretaker manager.

I think so and hope so mate. It would be bizarre, to me at least, to exclude coaches who are older for example. Nuno is available for example, imagine what a statement of intent he would be. People will point to wages, but our owner talks about ambition etc...

Whoever we bring in is going need time to stamp his style and authority on the squad and team.

December has an unforgiving schedule with games thick and fast, which you would assume would make it tricky to get their ideas across
