Interesting that Michael Walker has quite openly had a dig at how Speakman / KLD are running this. That’s quite big. Might provoke a response of sorts.
I know some on here have said they believe the club are doing the right thing by not speaking but surely now is the time for some kind of update to the fans.

Once again I ask, I thought Speakman was leaving? And KLD was leading the search?

Said from the start everything about this summer felt off and unfortunately it's true.

It's just that people reporting 'facts' always seem to throw in 'barring late u-turn' ...

... not exactly facts imo mate.

This. I'm prepared to wait and see what the club announce, because that will be factual, whereas the noise we are hearing from various journalists and online personalities is just that, noise, not facts.

Reactions: The Norton Cat
KLD wanted still and rightly asked Speakman to sort it. He hasn't. Refused to budge on the make up of staff.

if that’s the case, that KLD tasked Speakman to make it happen, this could be the end of him.

wishful thinking of course

Absolutely. That is Speakmans job and what he gets paid to do though.

There has been enough failure to keep Speakman on the payroll.

Just to keep his mates in jobs? Embarrassing if true.

KLD is also an embarrassment for allowing it to happen mind.

Jesus, how KLD is looking at this and still thinking Speakman is the man to take the club forward is beyond me
