This (and your previous posts) is the greatest series of ITK ever. Love it. At this point I dont care if it's right. No room for interpretation, you're clearly set fast on your info and 'if' it goes wrong you'll no doubt feel very let down. But you've fully committed to a degree I've not seen before and it would be ever so easy to set the ground for 'things change'. 100% respect, mate. If it comes off you're on another level :emoticon-0160-movie

I don't know KS and have never met the man, truth is I don't think I would like him, but apart from a bad season this season everything else at the club smacks of a good job done. Our academy and ladies teams are all flying and the foundations we have been moaning about and which SD and CM destroyed have been built stronger than they have been in years.
That alone means that the first team should be able to go from strength to strength, so I do believe this coming season is probably the time to judge KS and the model we are working to.

Maybe Still himself has just requested the 1st of June for announcement and start date and asked for some time to relax and holiday before starting. Bloke won’t have been out of work for years and maybe just wants a breather first. Obviously people might then say “well why not announce it at least” but it might be as simple as Still doesn’t want all the questions from journos, or to do welcome interviews/videos with the club until his break is over and he’s moved up. Players won’t be back until mid-late June so not as though he’ll not have time to conduct interviews 1st week of June.

Just a guess like.

My guess is that it's a stipulation from his club.

They won't want it to look like they gave permission for talks while he was still managing them.

I doubt their supporters would be too happy with that.

Do you still keep an eye on the French press after living there? If so, are they close to appointing someone to replace him?

I do read l'Équipe most days and they don't seem to be in any hurry tbh.

The most recent thing was Still saying he wants to go to England but won't go to a PL club.

As he obviously won't go to L1 that leaves half a dozen possibilities ...

Yeah, guess their season has just finished, so they won't be in a mad rush.

Sunderland kid fancied by Bradford

Sunderland left back Oliver Bainbridge is wanted by Bradford City - with the Black Cats under-21s in the Premier League 2 final today.

Bainbridge could be loaned out and the Bantams head the queue. Halifax are keen to take midfielder Caden Kelly.

Kompany tried to get Still as his assistant at Anderlecht. If Kompany is leaving on good terms he may tip them to Still I suppose.
