Just went out and bought a big bottle of Cruzcampo based purely on that advert

Still has been number 1 target since Mowbray so he was the priority.

We've definitely been sounding out and talking to others though. For example, I heard from someone at CAA that we had asked about Dionisi. Not sure what happened or where it went but we are definitely casting the net far and wide.

Personally I wanted Svensson but more than happy with Still.

Agreed re Svensson front foot but whoever comes in will get my backing.

I think Still has the slight arrogance needed to be our coach too. His ability to speak French effortlessly will really help for Ba, Aouchiche and future French signings too. For all he is young he seems to be able to command some respect based off his videos

Unless there's a massive unseen complication, which I doubt, we have a new manager.

He was offered the job, subject to negotiations, on the 11th of April so that's a month of talks.

The delay has been a myriad of details which, in my opinion, is how it should be ...

... things need to be thrashed out before someone is given a contract, not after.

Nah mate. But lots have heard it is all but done with Still.

Mind you, we are a beery bunch and it is Saturday. I am on the malt as normal, no reason needed, and we do have Fury hopefully to knock this upstart about a bit.

Was absolutely amazing and I had 3, took the later train. Got to my home town and stayed out for another 2 hours, on my own, and got in bother at home.

Wor lass is watching BGT I've drank half a bottle of Jack Daniels fire and struggling to see the screen which is probably a good thing
