I'm only guessing mind. In fact don't most football contracts run to end of June.:emoticon-0107-sweat

I don't think it's crazy just yet,but you're right,the new man needs to be involved in player decisions asap. I think we were all hoping for an early appointment,and any delay leads us to think that things are not working out as we want,but, that isn't necessarily so....other leagues haven't finished yet.
Do you think there's anything in the Svensson thing?

Personally, I wanted SAFC to hit the ground running when the season ended. I wanted to believe the 3/4 months they had to be used intelligently and their business lined up and ready to be executed. I believe we must be waiting on a foreign coach...Maric/Bo/Still to not have appointed a manager yet. The Bo link could be credible not heard this link until yesterday, however big ask to get him to SAFC. We have a very tight commercial, management and football model. A lot of managers once speaking to the club will not like the situation..hence the managers weve had previously and them speaking out about the situation.

Players won’t even be back in for pre-season training for another 4 weeks. As long as we have someone in by then, that’ll do.

Like you,I've wanted this resolved asap,and the Board must have been working on it since Beale left. As you say,it must be a foreign coach they're after....any delay must be contractual,and,whoever comes in,has to agree with the model,unless, their input persuades the Board to vary it?

Not sure if this is reality but would foreign managers be more used to this model than the oldies like Mowbray? It seems the DOF / coach set up is more the norm in Europe

I'll have spontaneously combusted by next week <laugh>, but I'm impatient. I just feel like after reports of KLD wanting it done swiftly after sheff wed and having the many months we've had to look at managers too, you'd think that we would be close now which Nixon has said we are but there's still no news about being in advanced talks etc

Agree, swiftly. We just need to be patient and wait for the good ship SAFC to turn. 2nd July is fine by me.
