Ole Gunna Solskjaer (spelling) possibly.
I can't see any announcement today, because they won't want any distractions on match day.
The wait is torture....
This is Sunderland we are accustomed to this now.
I think we're in good hands for the next few games. Take our time and get the right person.
I had a nightmare flashback about our squad a couple of years ago with D Hume, Wyke power etc. I have Complete trust in the hierarchy, even if they mess this appointment up, they have my backing long term.
Totally agree, KLD Speakman won't get everything right but long term imo we will be an established premier league club.I think we're in good hands for the next few games. Take our time and get the right person.

New quotes from a Swedish journalist here
He was doing really well at utd with emerging young players until they forced Christarsehole RonEgo onto himJust a rumour (thats all it was) from a mate. No idea where he got it from. Just seemed a curve ball and a strange name to throw into the ring.

.Oh how they need itTheres no doubt he could help our strikers.
Hellberg seems like the man to me. I'm very intrigued by him to be honest. I always feel like Nordic people fit well at our club too. Maybe Aaron Briggs being given a senior role in the backroom staff to bolster the tactical analysis side of our coaching too.

It won’t be Ole like.
Objectively. And looking at United now he did ok there, and he did very well at Molde.
Before that he was a train wreck at Cardiff. I just don’t see it happening.
For me more and more pointing at Cooper, but I don’t see the club looking at him.
He’s shown he can work with little say in transfers and make it work, last season his work was so underrated.
He takes them up, and that was a massive achievement they weren’t remotely fancied, he gets some 30 players of wild variation in terms of suitability launched at him, they look like cannon fodder but over a couple months he makes them k to a side and a good one to watch as well.
So, we chuck less players at him, you’d hope with better balance, and you’d guess he would quickly form a side.
I rate him. I’d be very happy with the him. Not to forget he did very well keeping Swansea steady in a turbulent time as well.
He’d be decent for me.
He'd be brilliant for us but he'll get a Prem job if Forest sack him. Plus, I think the club already had their candidates in mind when they sacked TM, there will have been a lot of due diligence going on behind the scenes for weeks / months now. I can't them see them chucking that all in the bin and jumping on Cooper at the drop of a hat because he suddenly becomes available
