I know some on here perhaps don't like to admit it but the mags are objectively one of the best teams in England right now. Bit harsh on the bloke to be expecting a result against them imo.
Injuries are a problem for them, hopefully Liverpool will wear them out

Twitter mags went from giving it the biggun to bricking it when we let go of Mowbray and looked set to hire an enigmatic European coach… not so much now <doh>

The main concern is stopping the stadium from turning into a recreation of chop chop square in honour of our esteemed guests in the Black Cats Bar

Agreed but think how much credit he would get in the bank if we beat them

I would take a mid table finish and beating them over losing in the playoffs again

I dont think we are good enough to go up this yr, which is mainly down to the quality of the league tbf

I fear we'll lose Neil, Ballard, JC, Ekwah and Jobe if we fail to go up.

no manager will get this team in the play offs now blew it away from home, too many tough games away left we would have to win about 9 out of 12 at home maybe 2 away if we are lucky and we might has well got Philips in as manager, we are going backwards big time.

Ignoring the part about us not being able to make the playoffs when we're two points away from them, I don't think we've got going yet. We've played well in many games but I don't think we've really got out of third gear yet.

If we get someone who can energise us and is willing to play a striker who goes on to score goals, crazy I know, then we can have a very good season potentially. We're pretty close to it.

Then let the pigs do it, let them humiliate themselves (yet again), then shout long and loud about what pigs they actually are, **** the press crawling after them. Push it on every phone in, newspaper comments page etc. then bill the ****ers for the full repair costs and make it public all the time.

Part of KLD's master plan maybe. Have the stadium refurbished at the head choppers expense :)

West Ham have to accept Millwall fans, Celtic and Rangers the same, Birmingham and Villa. Ipswich had Norwich there today, treat it as a derby and got on with it.

In reality Newcastle have caused a lot more damage to their own town than they ever have to anyone else's <laugh>

Totally agree I think think we should tweak it a bit in January and bring an experienced striker in at least till end of the season. Maybe the young lads who would play alongside him such as Rusyn would get the lift off they need and the rest will be history….

The Beale abuse is disgusting. Give the man a chance ffs even if u don’t want him.
I agree mate, he doesn’t deserve it. He obviously jumps at the chance to join us. I’ll give him a chance as I do with any incoming head coach. That being said, Michael Beale is not part of the plan. He simply isn’t. I’m not sure what’s gone on for us to make this appointment, but we could (and should) be doing so much better on the face of it. It’s up to him to prove me and many others wrong. But this appointment has diminished a lot of goodwill.
