I reckon he’s basically said a load of buzzwords in his interview and Speakman has loved every minute of it, every ounce of him just screams another Lee Johnson

Apologies, I misread that. I knew he was a highly driven individual with long experience of playing at the highest level under some of the most highly regarded managers in the world. That in itself would give me some confidence in his abilities.

Not ITK but if I was Beale, KLD or Speakman my arse would be nipping enough to reconsider my options. They’re probably having their own “Crazy son of a bitch club” moment right now.

Who did what aside it was a huge cock up, they spend time and money monitoring players but overlooked the fans, a rookie mistake

I’ve read two versions of a story about a fan who saw KLD and and asked him what’s going on.

“No no the deals not done yet!”

In the other version it’s Speakman, and a different fan <laugh>

Now, I'm keeping my powder dry on the management situation as I decided several years ago that as a fan, I shall wait for whomever is in charge to "impress me", by me I mean we the fans. Far too often I've went in with blind faith and 9 times out of 10 we've but underwhelmed. I know his name is mud, but... Steve Bruce got a "Meh" reaction but if people are honest with one's self, he put a canny team together and we played at times some decent stuff, so you never know. Now, to my point, there's every chance Beale has had a look online and either thought "**** that", or "I'll show them". Or, KLD has had a look and thought "humm, not sure about this". Time will tell, but, there's every chance both parties could be having second thoughts.... or, he's announced tomorrow.
