I reckon he’s basically said a load of buzzwords in his interview and Speakman has loved every minute of it, every ounce of him just screams another Lee Johnson

 

Apologies, I misread that. I knew he was a highly driven individual with long experience of playing at the highest level under some of the most highly regarded managers in the world. That in itself would give me some confidence in his abilities.

 

Done wonders for Lampard, Neville, Henry and Keano.

 

You take your chances. Sometimes it will work out, sometimes not.

 

Loads of good players turn out to be crap managers.

Klopp, Sarri, Mourinho, Tuchel, Nagellsman, Flick, Emery, Terzic just to name a few who weren’t good footballers at all.

Who did what aside it was a huge cock up, they spend time and money monitoring players but overlooked the fans, a rookie mistake

I’ve read two versions of a story about a fan who saw KLD and and asked him what’s going on.

In the other version it’s Speakman, and a different fan

Now, I'm keeping my powder dry on the management situation as I decided several years ago that as a fan, I shall wait for whomever is in charge to "impress me", by me I mean we the fans. Far too often I've went in with blind faith and 9 times out of 10 we've but underwhelmed. I know his name is mud, but... Steve Bruce got a "Meh" reaction but if people are honest with one's self, he put a canny team together and we played at times some decent stuff, so you never know. Now, to my point, there's every chance Beale has had a look online and either thought "**** that", or "I'll show them". Or, KLD has had a look and thought "humm, not sure about this". Time will tell, but, there's every chance both parties could be having second thoughts.... or, he's announced tomorrow.

Cheers mate. Not going to lie , the Beale news seen me off yday. That with no kip due to the bairns just really pissed me off.

It was done yday. Was just hoping it wasn't signed and there was a get out. Doesn't look to be the case.

 

I’m the same mate, got a teething 11 month old so sleep isn’t happening in this house either.
