    I'd forgotten about his appointment.
Wonder if he had any input into Patto's improvement towards the end of the season?

I think when we appointed Weal it was expected to be a short term deal. Hopefully we have someone in mind.

Good on him as well. Coaching is hard work but it is a team sport too. Seems like Regis has really trusted him and given him responsibility. Sometimes you just need a chance.

Think he's done well. After Dodds left he provided the players with that little bit of continuity.

Assuming Frank takes his coaching team with him, there are a couple out of work from Spurs.

Matt Wells is supposed to be great. Might think he is ready for a crack himself. His predecessor had done well enough. Jedinak also will be available. Dont know anything about him mind.

As we expand our coaching team over the summer an assistant who has been in the league for a while wouldnt be a bad idea.

Yep, some PL experience in the search would be vital for me

Interested to see who Brentford go for, massive boots to fill and hope whoever it is ****s it up and they’re dragged into the scrap at the bottom

Ps, please don’t come for Regis

Justin Cochrane the current favourite, one of Frank’s assistants

Not really a surprise. The best manager in the championship last season imo

I'd do that if I were him.

He's got 1 more chance of the PL imo, so he's better giving it a go with Brentford than he is with Burnley

If he struggles massively with another promoted side, PL teams will be put off going for him

Burnley losing Parker could be bad for Burnley and Brentford gaining Parker could be bad for Brentford. So I'm all for it :D

Yeah that's my thinking. Lower mid table with Brentford would probably be fine for him.

Yep, even having them finish 15th after taking over from Frank will be a class job

I'm not a huge parker fan, I was impressed with how they defended last season and the work rate of the team but just feel he struggles to change things

I still can’t quite believe it. Didn’t get enough credit imo. 2 defeats from 46 whilst only conceding 16 goals

I don't know much about Parker but hasn't he been poor in the PL ...

... I seem to remember a 9-0 loss that got him sacked at Bournemouth.
