Well, the saga is over. We have a new man in before preseason which was always my hope. Let's crack on and get some players through the door and get this club back on track.

Also, why are so many of our fans ****ing twisty ****s?

It’s unhealthy this obsession some of our fans have with Beale mind

I can only hope that they vent all their anger and frustration at the club which allows them to live happy and fulfilled lives otherwise. I'd hate to think that such negativity is an everyday aspect of their lives.

Welcome Regis. I have convinced myself, by research, that he is a good fit for our club. Now I hope we just allow patience, 3 years is a decent sign. Remember folk, we are a 1st team in rotten form, unbalanced, and lacking ability in key positions. Our new Head Coach can instill new confidence and belief quickly, whether we can jump from 16th to top 6 will very much dependant on getting better players in our team, and letting Regis work with them for a period of time.

Anyway, delighted it is done. Before anyone leaves this thread please ask my permission, it is mine afterall :emoticon-0102-bigsm We started it when Mowbray was in charge and in response to some wanting him gone. Lets hope this thread isnt revisited in any meaningful way for at least 2 years because that will mean Regis is doing a good job :1980_boogie_down:

Has there been many successful French managers in England other than Wenger?

I know Leicester had one for a year or two.

The best thing I can say about this appointment is that it feels like the first one that truly aligns with "the model". Whether people like it or not, this is our approach so far better to have everyone on the same page and give it a bloody good go.
Agree. Wouldn’t be my choice, and get the underwhelmed sentiment, but this feels like an appointment KLD is truly behind and he deserves a chance. The model has seen a lot of positives that have been forgotten because of the last few months, hopefully this is the start to getting back on track
