I thought it was just a one parter. I watched the first 15 minutes, thought this is bloody slow moving, what with irrelevant old women bimbling on about what a good tennis partner Jerry was and detailed plans of where they was having their tea, so I looked at the listings, realised I had another 7 and three quarter hours to endure and thought Nah. So I bailed out. BTW, what happens in the end?
I concur, it dragged out. However, still enjoyed it and goes end to end the series of events and helps shut down the conspiracy theories. It starts to pick up from episode 3.
To me, it always came across that they accidentally killed her and have been covering themselves ever since. This doc didn't need to be made, and it certainly doesn't need to be 8 ****ing episodes long. Netflix usually does do fantastic true crime docs, but at times they do have a problem with making them way longer than they need to be.
If you read Gonçalo Amaral's book, 'The Truth of the Lie', accidentally killing her and covering it up is the best case scenario.
Wanted her to stay asleep whilst they left her and went out, and accidentally overdosed her with some form of sedative.
I watched the first episode and wasn't sure, but it certainly grew on me, up to episode 3 now. Loved the line from the prostitute, saying the punters like the fact that her hands are small, make their dick look bigger.
Watched the first four this morning, I'm not a Gervais fan, but it's excellent. I'm not a peado, but if I was, you'd be safe, you fat little ginger ****.
There again she could have been abducted by shape-shifting aliens and taken to a secret (though signposted) bunker.
I like it - send that theory to all of the TV companies, one of them is bound to make a ten part series around it.
You’d need a VPN and something like VuDu (Streaming service) as currently an NBC exclusive but Manifest is worth a watch, I’m up to episode 5 New season of Billions started on Sky this week
